See WhatsApp Statuses Secretly

Generally, when you are seeing a WhatsApp status of one of your contacts, he or she can see that you have seen there were some statuses. But don’t you like it? Here we have got a method for you.

  • Open WhatsApp on your phone.
  • Tap the three dots on the top right corner.
  • Go to settings > account > privacy.
  • Find the read receipts option there and turn it off.

So now, your friends cannot see that you have seen their WhatsApp statuses even you have seen.

 

Hide the Seen Status for Messages

Do you want to hide the same status from your friends even after you’ve seen their messages? Turning off the read receipts option will help you to do so.

  • Turn off Read Receipts

There you have three options.

    • My contacts – Show your statuses to all of your contacts
    • My contacts except... – Select contact you don’t want to show your WhatsApp statuses.
    • Only share with... – Select the contacts you wish to see your statuses.




Prevent Showing Media in Your Gallery from a specific Chat

Don't you want to show photos and videos from WhatsApp in your gallery? There is a solution for you.

  • Open the WhatsApp chat you want to hide media from the gallery.
  • Go to the description or profile page.
  • Tap on Media Visibility.
  • Select No and tap OK.

Newly downloaded media from this chat will no longer be visible in your phone's gallery.


Hide Chats in WhatsApp

You can use the Archive feature to do this.

  • The selected chat will be archived until you unarchive it.

  • Open the chat you want to delete messages periodically.
  • Go to group details and tap "Disappearing messages".
  • Select the time you want to delete the message automatically in the chat.

Now the new messages in the chat will be automatically disappeared after the selected time.
